How can/do I honor the interconnectedness of all life?

I save any insect in the house and put in in the garden. I know that seems like a small action but when you see micro photographs of them it will amaze you. How incredibly complex they are. They are connected to all life forms.
To say a little thank you to all the people who had been there and invested their work to make this food, this tea or coffee available for me before taking it; to chose quality over quantity and to look after the people in my care, to plants or animals in and around my house in a caring and loving way.
Interconnectedness…..all life…..I like to believe so {that I honor the interconnectedness of all life} but I am not perfect & never will be. What I do know, I live consciously aware & want for that to keep growing until I leave this world.
By breaking down the false walls and categories that I have built over my lifetime. By labeling and describing each person/thing/being, I make assumptions and judgments and distinguish “them” as being separated and different from “me.” It takes a great deal of work to deconstruct this worldview; I’ll let you know when I’ve figured out how to do it! 🤣
I take care of the soil and grow food in a sustainable way, and I consider the impact of my actions on the world, often in even very simple things, like in this moment I am turning off a lamp because the day has grown bright enough that I don’t need it.
By paying attention and noticing all life. By giving to all life in the best ways I can. By being present and loving and grateful for all of it, as we are all connected to it, to each other.
I try to help and show kindness wherever I go. I try to live a life of interbeing by seeing we all inter- are. Another teaching that zen master Thay teaches . We all inter- are. We can’t live alone. By this teaching I see how nothing is lost.
I can best honor the interconnectedness of life by showing up for what life brings every day, from the mundane daily occurrences to the prized “aha moments” that come our way now and then. I’m a “bloom where you’re planted” type of person, content to be present to the here and now, to the subtle and the unadorned, where real life lives, doing what I can with the tools given me. The grandiose gesture of attending to the “all,” of anything, I suggest, exists in our minds and nowhere else.

Make choices that are more friendly to the species we’ve been muscling out.

By knowing nothing is really random; it’s more of a domino affect. Which domino are you?
By being quiet. It is everywhere around me, my exhale is the trees inhale, the cycles of the seasons, the rise and fall, the birth and death.
By being respectful, of all & everything. Easier some days than others. Keep on truckin All…✨🌟✨

I love this, Holly!
By choosing to do the right thing, which is the accumulation of daily choices.
By paying attention and noticing all life. By giving to all life in the best ways I can. By being present and loving and grateful for all of it, as we are all connected to it, to each other.
Honoring the interconnectedness of all life requires kindness, compassion, respect and sincere gratitude always.
I can show up and be present. I can take off my blinders and let my heart be broken. I can do what is given my hands to do, in love and for healing.
By paying attention and being aware of that interconnectedness.
Easier said than done sometimes….my life is fuller when I do notice.
I try to help and show kindness wherever I go. I try to live a life of interbeing by seeing we all inter- are. Another teaching that zen master Thay teaches . We all inter- are. We can’t live alone. By this teaching I see how nothing is lost.
R E S P E CT . go ahead, sing it like Aretha Franklin:)
Thank you for the smile! What a great song to carry into the day.
