    WHAT MAKES ME COME ALIVE?

Nature, being peaceful with my relatives and friends, living in the present, appreciating my accomplishments, self care, painting, music and specifically dancing and singing to it, sunshine, moon, stars, trees, rain, ANIMALS & our Creator.

All kinds of things! But yesterday’s hike up Chimney Rock in NC was a real ‘come alive’ experience for me. My husband & I hoped from the bottom to the top, and it was the most exhilarating experience of my life. And then the view from the top of that Rock (not to mention the waterfall on the other side of the mountain) was the most beautiful, magical thing I’ve ever seen and felt. I’ve been in the mountains before and have done some hikes, but never anything like this. I felt God, and I felt all of that incredible energy. I’m taking some of it home with me 😊

Waking up in the morning, getting out of bed and having the first taste of coffee pass my lips.😉. Honestly being grateful and thinking about how fortunate I am to experience being alive! My heart beats, my lungs breathe,, my eyes see, my nose smells and I can hear everything around me!

Art and beauty. Beauty to me is in a lot of things, natural things like plants, scenery and animals or actions that are beautiful … beauty is in excellence, athletes who do incredible things like surf 100 foot waves, architecture that is beautiful, trust and friendship is also beautiful, someone who helps someone else. I just am drawn to and nourished by beauty. I also love art, all kinds and pretty much need a daily art injection to keep me going most days. I love seeing expression and creativity, love things that help to explore stories and feelings. The funny thing is I’m extremely utilitarian in a lot of ways, always trying to streamline and find the efficient way … but when it comes to art, it’s just necessary for my sanity and the health of my feelings.

My faith and what I value in behavior from people and what I don’t value has a lot to do with what to me seems beautiful. Helping others, being brave, excellence at what you are trying to do … I think all that is beautiful. I have an instinct to want beauty to be in the world and encourage it in the world.

I have strong connections to plants. I’ll sit on my balcony and feel nourished by the plants and find little ways to improve some part or other.

The Eternal Life-Light of the one heart

    As exercised

Visualize a lamp filled with our oil and place a wick lite by your Heart – light …then place in your Etheric heart { not material heart ]

Say to yourself, “this lamp will be lit in my heart all the time.”

When you make the light in your heart, have in your mind this commandment of Joshua the Christ, the beloved one. He said, “this light should belong to God and love to every human being,” when you say this….. you have to mean it.

“this is the light of my heart offered to you, my God”.

Now place the bowl in your heart center. ……And see how it is giving light to your heart.

Every night when you go to sleep ……..see this bowl in your heart, always filled with pure oil and see its light.

If you are disturbed, if you don’t have a clean conscience, you will see the light flickering. If you observe that, try to calm your personality down by seeing the light in your heart…. steady and calm,… see it clearly.

Anytime you LIKE YOU CAN take this lamp out of your heart, see yourself holding it in your etheric hand and observe its bright light.

And mentally whisper, “In him is life and his life is the light of all men”.

“I am the light of the world,” Christ said.

Mentally say to him, “I give to you what is yours”, keep my heart clean and keep the light in my heart shining, be assured that he will accept it and that in time he will baptize you in fire and in spirit.

Sharing something I love with another person. Example: looking at my amazing photos of my summer Alaska trip with my housemate.

Danny and I cooking a meal of dal together for our delightful young neighbors and their 2 small children.

Hearing and seeing the whales blowing and sounding all around me in the middle of the sound.

Having a real, heart to heart conversation face-to-face with someone, and then being able to laugh together, whether the conversation was easy or difficult

Loving and being loved in return. In the same vane, giving in charity and receiving sincerely charitable gifts of time assistance, and sometimes just the empathy of people sharing in my pains or helping me get through times of trial. It is the circle of love and sometimes the fruits of forgiveness.

A role to play. A job to do. A task, an obligation and invitations of all sorts to engage in the world. A good story in which I initially lose myself and disappear. Then putting the book down, see the world anew perceiving nuances which I didn’t have before. Hunger of all kinds, for love, for adventure, for comfort and rest. For justice. A resonance of almost any kind. Resonance because it is an energetic response within my soul, a vibration I pick up like a piano wire after a tuning fork is struck. It is not willful as much as inherent to breathing.

Dear Howie, your English writing is always very different then the writings of the other members. Yours, I always have to translate to Dutch. It is every time a surprise, because it reads like a beautifull poem or story. A visual language.😍

Sometimes it is difficult to express myself in English. Dutch is my language. I have a longer Dutch answer but I try to translatie it shorter to English.
Like the promise in seed, is the fruit, so the promisse in life is love.💛🙏

I do hope that this reply is not akward 🤗

I think it came out beautifully – thank you, Christine! Google translates: “What makes me come alive?
When I think of life, I think of vitality. If there is one thing that has a lot of life force in it, it is the seed. For example, in one seed there is one tree, many apples, and a lot of new seed. What a power. What a promise from the one seed. That’s how I feel the life force in myself. Maybe a little strange to compare myself to a seed, but I think we are love. That we can let love grow and blossom and finally endlessly sow like the seed. The promise of a loving life is love.”
