Lisa Valentine is an avid writer and runner, with a 30-year career as an educator. After ten years of teaching high school social studies, she has spent the last twenty years as a school counselor, primarily at the middle school level. She received her B.A. In Social Science from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa and her M.S. in Guidance and Counseling from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.
