I am going to pause and reflect on my emotions….so that I can be more self-aware rather than just trying to get my to-do list completed.

Giving myself the permission to be lazy – sometimes a day of stillness is just what the doctor ordered, especially during the busy holiday season.

Today I can tend to myself by realising that I don’t have all the answers and that I don’t need to complete everything that I thought I would complete today. I can give myself an early night and recognise that I have done very well considering everything going on in my life right now.

Today, I can tend to myself by saying hello to my animals, since I fly back to Colorado tonight. Giving love to my animal companions is very therapeutic to me.

Taking a walk on this day. Breathing in the wonder, beauty and inspiration of this blue sky, views of the Channel Islands with glittering sunlit ocean as far as I can see.

Practice my yoga, which I had to put on the back burner for the last few days cuz of other stuff. Will also try to get a vigorous walk in too, as I had to put that on the back burner also. Even tho heavy rain is in the forecast, I love walking in the rain. Happy Sunday to All. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ll put baking soda in the bathtub when I shower, and my feet will soak in it [the drain will be closed]. That will help retard my toenail fungus, as I discovered when putting it in my socks after googling ‘smelly feet.’ How’s that for uplifting? ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Get outside and enjoy the calm in the storm. It looks sunny and mild and a good day to enjoy a nice walk after all the freezing rain and rain we had. Look after myself and let others deal with their own problems.

Good day for this question for me! I’m off today, and I’ve already tended to myself with some meditation. I’ll get my grocery shopping done, get exercise of some sort, and tonight we’re decorating our Christmas tree – finally!

Continue sorting and organizing my new home, at least what can be managed with all this pain in my hands. It is predicted that the sun will be out and the winds calmed, so get outside even for a very short time. Take the time to appreciate the gifts of the day.

I am making choices that give room. Room for living. Almost as if I am preparing a meal, and so working backwards to establish the timing so that it all comes out at the same time. Allowing for life to unfold without stress and anxiousness. Organized, sorted, ready for the day.

I slightly overdid things yesterday so I need to listen to my body and rest more today. Meditating would help so I must focus on a couple of sessions to get myself back on track and calm down my jangling nervous system.
Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday ๐Ÿ˜Š

Iโ€™ve already begun by attending to this Daily Question, and very shortly, with coffee in my right hand followed by oatmeal in my belly. Then, by mid-morning, attending worship with my fellow Quakers (masked, of course) followed by our annual Advent Sunday celebration…this year held outdoors because of Covid…and this afternoon on a romp with our dog, Gracie at the park alongside the harbor. By late afternoon I should be stationary reading, or napping, whichever happens first. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Tending to myself means not to be this myself. Watching this โ€žmyselfโ€œ and having a loving atitude towards it, is what can be done by me. Though i am not this myself, this myself as all the other myselves is nothing else but me. As an actor playing the role of a cowboy is not a cowboy at all. But seeing the cowboy i Know the cowboy is nobody else but the actor. So tending to anyone is tending to me. I try to do it with a open and loving heart. My respect and love to you all

Decorating the Christmas tree today is tending to myself today. I am late doing it this year, but better late than never getting it done.
I am also picking up a good friend to go look at some of the perennial gardens our university has worked on for years. I am going to be doing alot of landscaping work in the spring and summer, and want to get an idea of how some of the plants will look at this time of year. Specifically looking for plants that look nice during all seasons is hard to see unless you have gardens like this…looking forward to this new adventure.
    A good day all around!

Nature is calling. Mother Nature is good for my body, mind and soul. I am going to make a beautiful walk in a forest nearby. I don โ€˜t mind the rain. The rain gives a nice smell to the forest. I wish you all a happy sunday. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŒงโ˜”
