When I listen to the silence, what is it saying to my heart?

A candle is lit and some incense smoke in front of my little Buddha traveling with me guides to become still. After a long winter, the sun almost unexpectedly has turned its face, its warming rays touching me deeply. Listening to my heart, it speaks to me about you; bringing tears of joy to my eyes, saying i am here with you with all my heart, laying down in front of you all I can offer to be of support the way it would serve best; it humbly makes me bow to You and to life itself in deep gratefulness. May His Light and Love guide us. Blessings be with you, my dear friends. With all my heart, Ose
It is a paradox. Listening to the silence is an invitation to become the silence – because listening is an activity. Becoming the silence is doing nothing – but possibly still an activity because being alive is reverberating energy. But that is the paradox. They say a paradox is a Truth standing on its head so it will be noticed. Haha.
Listening to silence grounds my heart. It allows me to focus on the now, prevent worrying thoughts and stress from entering my mind and gives me a chance to focus more on gratitude 🙏.
The silence is saying, I am always there when you need me.
Surround yourself with positive souls.
You are everywhere always in relation to your deepest dreams and destiny, even if you’re facing the wrong way.
God speaks in symbols.
The spiral is an important sign.
Visualize kissing people on the forehead.
Love strangers.

It is a deep connection for me. In order to hear I need that silence. It is the opposite of anxiety for me and it is calming, and offers me comfort, and peace. It says different things at different times, but right now it is saying pay attention.
As a Quaker, what silence is, and how silence is experienced, can take many forms. Most frequently, traditional Quakers, or “Friends,” as we are known, worship in silence, so that tends to happen often whether we are alone or among other Friends. Sometimes we practice what we call “worship sharing,” in which an overall topic is being explored, and silence is practiced for a length of time between each person who speaks. It can be very powerful when approached as worship. For us, whether silence is communicating anything to the heart depends on the setting and the overall needs of those who are gathered.
In general, and not worship, silence might be fortifying my resolve to take action, or to rise up with greater clarity on a path forward. Silence might also draw me into deeper silence, for release and for rest. Just where the heart is in all this only the heart knows for sure.
I appreciated learning of of this practice of worship sharing. Although my first thought was, silence being a practice in the service of others, I suspect it is greater than this.
Mostly when I ask a question, I have often heard it said “Love is always the answer” and I also often heard it said “Have patience and trust”. I like to meditate and I am always happy when I hear the inner voice giving me a answer.

Take a deep breath and listen.

It’s saying it’s ok to let go and relax!
I am blessed.
welcome back. I’m always here waiting for you.
Love it !
Be calm. Stop rushing. Breathe.
It is what the Pulse of Life IN the heart centre is saying, not what “silence” is saying!
The Pulse of Life in the Heart ( the Holy Spirit and Creator ) is saying,,,
“I Love you,….. you are mine”. “I Love you,…….you are mine”
Each heart beat cycle repeats that sentiment
All shall be well.
Have you made it to Belize yet? Safe travels:)
I’m in California and fly on the 21st of May. Wow!
exciting! Enjoy your time in California:)
It sure is. Thank you Michele. A whole new world awaits to explore and serve in.
Be here now.
You are enough.
This is the world.
Be here now.
Peace
Listening to the silence, it says “Feel the morning sun on your face. Have hope; spring is coming….”
When I listen to the Silence, it says, “You are loved beyond what you can imagine.”

Early this morning sitting in the silence, it took a long time to cut through the chatter to arrive at: What about this moment?
After, I read: “Treasure this day and treasure yourself. Truly, neither will ever happen again.” It brought me to tears.
It is a deep connection for me. In order to hear I need that silence. It is the opposite of anxiety for me and it is calming, and offers me comfort, and peace. It says different things at different times, but right now it is saying pay attention.
It depends on the source of the silence … if it comes from a certain person than my heart is breaking, if it comes from nature it is peaceful.
Excellent perspective, Michele!
I feel this.
“You is kind, you is smart, you is important.” (from the movie The Help).
You are enough.
You are doing the best you can.
Trust.

Welcome home
Thank you, Hermann-Josef, what a beautifully simple answer that speaks volumes❤️
This brought me to tears, too.
