The wonder and depth of life itself🙏It is a miracle, it is a celebration, it is pain and it is deep joy. And it is being all together as one heart. Thank you dearly, my dear friends who share and who visit here, and all beyond. 🙏🙇🙏

I’ll choose hearing. I’m hearing birds, cars and clocks. What an ability, sensing tone, timbre, volume, direction and recognition of small subtleties. And all happening without much conscious thought. And so frequently I take it for granted.

Watching the honeybee swarm is a quiet miracle. . . unless you’re there when it arrives. A clearing nearby the chosen hive is where the scouts gather in a large spiral, barely noticeable at first. Gradually the space fills with a peaceful tempest of bees, displacing air like a gentle rain; the pulsation of a million wings, where not deafening, can be heard beyond everything else. It’s like a UFO materializing before your eyes. It moves like singular, unified organism, stepping around trees, out-buildings and other obstacles. They are a quiet storm on a bright, sunny morning.

How (seemingly) one is actually many, yet at the same time how (seemingly) many is actually one.

I stood up for myself during a hard phase where I thought I wouldn’t survive. I’m so grateful for having done that and I’m celebrating it. Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou!

I made it through most of the day and went through most insecurities that get triggered but i just look up to those who inspire and just go with the flow. And i celebrate that today by being in tune with myself.

While it seems daily we uncover new challenges and threats in this world, all the while we do seem to be making slow, gradual progress toward greater good – despite the notable limitations of each individual and the daily battles we all must and do take on. Will take a moment to celebrate this collective achievement over the long haul of time.

My husband and I caught Covid last week, and thanks to our vaccinations, the symptoms have been mostly mild. I am grateful for the scientists who developed the vaccines, and I celebrate them today.

Wonderful news! I work in a medical setting, this what we see every day. I am so happy you got vaccinated. Blessings to all that work hard to make this possible.

Since a few months I am working in a hospital for patients who suffer of depression and psychological deceases. Some of them tried to commit suicide. One of them is a mother who could not feel something good for her handicapped child. Today she burst into tears and said she suddenly felt overwhelmed with love for her child.

Miracles I will appreciate today are aging, youth, and the progression of time. I grow older, more experienced, wiser hopefully, and now I watch my children, very recently grown up, begin their adult lives, their first apartments. It strikes me that we are all in a relay of time, whether or not we have children ourselves, there are always those coming up behind us. What will we do with the time we have? Are we pressing to make this a better world for them? What is it we are passing to them?

That we are all in this together, consciously or unconsciously, I see as a miracle. That our individual lives progress, that we learn and experience new things as we live and age, that we transform ~ another miracle. That bits of us will live on in others after we are gone ~ yet another miracle. It makes me want to redouble my efforts that the parts of me I leave are the best that I can give. ❤

Just beautiful! I share your sentiments as well. Watching my two children grow up makes me so happy. They are 33 and 30 years old, I can not beleive it as I write it. Beautiful souls that make the world a better place. I am so happy they are in my life. I love your line “That bits of us will live on in others after we are gone” really touched my heart. I will be a grandmother for the first time in July, just to know that a bit of me will be in her makes humble at the miracle of being alive. Thank you!

They are putting a new roof on my house today….I doubt it will be a quiet day but the insurance company is paying for it and the contractor did not think they would. Don’t know that it qualifies as a miracle but it is truly a blessing!

That I have a temporary place to live while my house is repaired due to a tree falling on it. It feels like a miracle because it all came together so quickly and easily. I made one phone call and everything unfolded from there.

      Fabulous, Laura!
I know this has been so unsettling, but I’m glad it is getting taken care of. Sometimes “shake ups” can be a blessing, too.

Waking up for school does not put me in the best mood but I’m still grateful for this education and I can use this to continue my path.

My husband sleeping in the next room. I’m so grateful he and I found each other on this great big planet. He’s truly my soulmate, and I still sometimes can’t believe that I found someone who loves me and treats me the way he does. And this amazing plot of old farmland we were so fortunate to find and be able to live on. The sun just poked above the tall pines that line the front of our property and is glaring onto the freshly mowed lawn while our dog runs and “protects” his property. Ten years ago, I never would have dreamed I’d be where I am right now. I’m so grateful for all of the miracles and blessings.

The hot coffee in my cup: It wouldn’t be here to wake me without the miracle of what happens when sunshine and soil and water and seeds come together to create that wonderful, wonderful plant. The labor and supply chain that bring it to me aren’t miracles but they too are wonderful and worthy of celebration. I’m in an intensive week-long training in a different time zone so this is a really essential miracle.

Today I will step outside of this large and too-chilly hotel and look up at the sky. I hope to hear birds somehow through the traffic sounds. I will at least see green things growing. Not coffee bushes, but still beautiful!

I love how you have awakened the appreciation of the cup of coffee I am drinking. You captured the essence of gratefulness by looking beyond & behind the hot liquid in the cup. Thank you!

That at eight days shy of my 72nd birthday, that I’m still alive and (reasonably!) functional and active to be able to appreciate it! That my wife of 50 years has survived and recovered from cancer 18 years earlier. We are blessed, and very fortunate.

As April is National Donate Life month and comes to an end, I can be thankful and grateful for all the organ and tissue donors who made a difference in someone else’s lives.
This week also is National Medical Laboratory Professional Week. I celebrate with my fellow lab professionals for all the hard work they do. Congrats:)

Thank you for your work when we have to investigate our insides! My driver’s license says “organ donor” and I’m signed up with Be The Match in case my bone marrow can help someone. My stepson has already been a bone marrow donor at 22–we were so proud of him.

And I am grateful for your work, too, Michele, as well as your colleagues. Over the years, no doubt, I have contributed my share of “work” to medical labs as well.

Well, it is early here, really 2AM, as my insomnia is here with me. So, the miracle of waking up, even at this early hour. Of Joy, our dog, sleeping next to my chair. The miracles are there, I just need to see them. The fact that although the earth is spinning round and round, here I sit, in my recliner, safe and steady and warm. Now to embrace my overactive, anxiety filled mind and tell it to relax, be calm, that I am fine now and we can go back to sleep….

🙃😂 I finally did….sometimes I meditate but this time I read some of the Love sections in the NYT that has write ups about weddings, and how people met and fell in love…that put me in a happy mood as I crawled back in bed with my husband and cuddled with him….
