The possibility to call my friends and family while away is of big support these days. Doing the daily household duties offer equanimity and some peace; Drawing, painting, writing and singing offer joy and for all of this I am deeply grateful.

Ose, I will try to remember you attitude as I am doing my daily household duties. I don’t have to feel grumpy about them, like they are blocking me from what I really want to do. I can feel grateful for them as simple gifts that offer equanimity and some peace.

I am grateful for a beautiful Christmas Mass this morning, that I will be going down to celebrate my daughter’s one year of sobriety next month, reconciling with my sister, having my Dad still with us as he ages. I am grateful for my Brother and sister in law for having a nice big Christmas dinner that we are invited to. I am grateful for my friend Mike who has been a great friend and companion for 10 yrs now! Grateful for everyone here and a very Merry Christmas everyone!

Time with my sister-in-law and a very low-key Christmas day. We’re in our PJs enjoying coffee by the fire. Later we’ll eat some of the apple cinnamon rolls with maple cream cheese frosting that I baked yesterday and open our stockings that I filled with a book, little toys for grownups and chocolates. We’ll continue the Christmas movie fest we started last night after dinner, eat snacks, just be together. So simple and so enjoyable.

I’m grateful for all of it. Grateful for another day. Grateful for this breath. This heartbeat.
The unfolding of my life. The river that got me here. As I float along, I am becoming less resistant to the current. More content to see whats around the next bend.
I am grateful for all of you that participate in this sharing. As people come and go, I try not to cling too tightly, as non permanence is the nature of this life. But, there are some voices I miss. 🙏

Yes, Charlie. Impermanence. Everything on this good planet has its lifespan. A big appearing/disappearing act. Things appear and simultaneously things disappear. Over and over again.

My cats. I’m grateful I get to take care of and show them love every day. In return, they comfort me when im feeling down, snuggle up purring next to me, and love unconditionally. 😻

Clean water and air, a warm home, healthy food.

I also was just realizing how these daily questions are like a gift each morning. I have a sense of anticipation as I turn on the computer and go to the website, wondering– what will today’s question be? So I am grateful for these questions and your responses.

I feel the same way each morning, Elizabeth.
This has become a daily ritual for me,
and I’m so happy that I’ve been able to maintain it.

I am grateful not to feel rushed today – and to be able to savor this sensation more and more and more often. I am grateful that my mind and thoughts; my feelings and heart; my body and sense of presence, all feel lined up together and connected smoothly right now. This is flow. This is alignment. This is gratitude. 🙏
thank you to all here and blessings as we proceed in to this day. 🕊️ carol ann.

Silence, the light blue morning sky, the sound of the dog breathing, my husband resting nearby, the perfect temperature inside the house, coffee and my stomach’s willingness to tolerate it today, this gratefulness work. Take good care, everyone.

    Simple gifts.
A loving look from my husband.
    My Mom laughing.
My cat rolling onto her side and kicking/attacking her blanket with her back legs.
The wispy white clouds in a blue sky earlier this morning.
    My breath that comes easily
My heart that feel warm with love.
Wishing much love and simple gifts for all today.

The Steph vs LeBron matchup makes me think of Lauryn. Wishing her a Merry Christmas and good luck. She’ll need to head to the gym and work on those 3-pointers.

Lauryn, Schroder had 2 stints with my Lakers. Unfortunately, my front office stunk that 1 up. I’m happy for you guys and am really looking forward to that matchup.

Today, I’m grateful for the Christmas gifts I received from everyone. As an adult, I still enjoy the surprise of unboxing gifts. Understanding that, my mother-in-law wrapped me lots of trivial things so I could unbox them excitedly. I’m grateful for having my mother-in-law because of her care for everyone. It touched me as I saw bags of my favorite fruits from Vietnam that I hadn’t eaten for quite a long time and how beautifully the gifts were being wrapped.
