My 8 year old daughter inspires me. She reminds me that I need her love just as much as she needs mine. I use to long to lay with a man at night to have to hold me. I realized through my daughter that I actually was not always wanting something romantic. The type of comfort I was looking to give and receive I have been able to have with my daughter. We lay in bed and hold each other. It’s so healing to my heart. She reminds me how important it is to be present, especially when she comes home and wants to tell me about her day and show me everything she drew at school. She inspires me to live. That’s important because my depression doesn’t. When I see my daughter she reminds me of the gift of life. I cared for her for so long and I don’t want my depressed states to take moments away from her where I could be loving on her.

Hard working singer , Ariana Grande inspires me with music and being a feminist she is just my motivation to think about the future and not just let people walk all over me and that its ok to be sad just find a way to share it with other people so they now they are not alone. Please dont judge :)))))))

My energetic , passionate and sometimes sensible sister, for one! She throws herself into whatever she is doing, whether it is caring for her family and for people around her, or traveling in their RV to explore the country. She is a “rolling stone that gathers no moss”, and though I could not manage all the activities and projects she takes on, I admire her determination and willingness to meet life’s challenges as well as opportunities.

All those whose thoughts are fresh and creative. whose deeds are based on doing good to the whole. All who know how to be happy. all those who know why they are here. All those who do not give up and try their best (as my daughter is doing ). Any tree is inspiring in giving oxygen and shade without thinking to be a giver

A dear friend with an awful life diminishing condition faces her reality through fear and fatigue. Still she chooses as much as she can to be grateful and positive. There’s a nobility about her which is inspiring.

I am inspired by anyone that has found kindness and forgiveness after struggle and hardships. People who have chosen to softened their heart instead of hardening their heart. I am also inspired by hard working people, that can still be kind, even in the face of indifference. The people I see at 5am, driving to work or out in the Vinyard. The “essential” workers that somehow didn’t get bitter or give up completely during a pandemic that added another layer to an already difficult life.

The GPS navigation voice that helps me navigate to where I want to go regardless of the number of wrong turns that I make – always patiently and reliably giving me the best way from wherever I am in the moment, then adjusting again without hesitation.

That’s funny, Chester – sometimes it seems to me as if mine is getting a bit cross, but obviously that’s my imagination 🙂

People who step forward in a time of crisis and need. People who always have a kind word for others. People with a sense of humor to meet the challenges of their days. I’m thinking of some of those people and their names now… blessedly, too numerous to list.

My ancestors. I frequently claim their strength and resilience–especially the women whose lives were much harder and more challenging than mine.

My mind immediately flew to “ordinary” women, the unsung heroes of everyday life. Every once in a while, well actually, quite often, I meet someone and think, “I want to be more like them when I “grow up.” Such was the case yesterday, as I watched Che trying to learn how to use a spinning wheel, and Karen, teaching her.

As I plan to retire in June I know I am walking away from my working life leaving so many wonderful women in man doing an amazing work to make this worl a better place to live. I am grateful for all of them. My two children included!

My children and grandchildren. I see them close-up, and am continually inspired by their energy(where did mine go?), and their ability to continue to carry on with things even though they run into road blocks.

Beautiful Mary Pat! I feel the same way about my two adult children. I will be a grandma in July, I am so looking forward to the gift of life and helping to raise another human being. I feel so blessed for this opportunity.

Like Antoinette, I would say God, and everywhere and everyone where His light is sparkling, giving inspiration to others as well as to my own light to sparkle also, and possibly shine to all around, paying it forward.

Our dog, Gracie, inspires me. She’s ten-years old and blind, greets each new day with a wagging tail and genuine excitement of what each new hour may bring. She’s more graceful going up and down stairs than I ever was, and there are moments when I am convinced that she “sees” what matters more than I do.
