Our team has been hard at work behind the scenes with creative designers and developers building a beautiful, new and improved online home for Grateful Living! As our community and organization evolve, our commitment to offering you an enriching online experience where you can connect, learn, and find guidance throughout your Grateful Living journey only deepens. And as technology rapidly advances, an updated online experience for you is long overdue!
Your generous support and inspiring ideas shared over the years through surveys, emails, and letters have made this dream an approaching reality. We are truly grateful to be so close to bringing this collaborative vision to life for you.
As we continue approaching the “big reveal” later this summer, we’re thrilled to offer a small peek behind the curtain at the exciting improvements to celebrate and new additions to anticipate.
Upgrades to your favorite features
The tools you know, use, and love including eCards, Light a Candle, and the Private Gratitude Journal are all being tended and improved to offer you the best possible experience.
Improved readability, reliability, and search
Many of you have asked for improvements regarding the readability, reliability, and search functionality of our website. We’re happy to be implementing all of these changes with the arrival of our new website. Expect a faster, more reliable, more accessible, and increasingly robust experience overall.
Reimagined organization of our resources
With the launch of our new website comes an upgrade to how our library of resources is organized and presented for your exploration. Discover deepening resources easily with updated topics and themes, and enjoy more ease and options when it comes to searching for specific resources within our library.
Fresh ways to explore content
In addition to updated topics, we will be introducing NEW themes for each of the Five Guiding Principles and Br. David’s Stop.Look.Go Guiding Practice. These additions open up new opportunities for working with the Principles, while helping you cultivate presence, perspective, and possibility. These new themes also offer a more guided pathway to exploring Grateful Living in tandem with our ongoing practices and live courses throughout the year.
More connection opportunities and improved Gratitude Lounge
A new community platform will allow for deeper connection and endless possibilities as we continue to learn and practice, together! This community space is also where you’ll find the Gratitude Lounge, which will offer more opportunities for casual social connections and deeper reflection. The Gratitude Lounge is a sacred space we hold near and dear, and we’re so happy to be able to expand upon it in meaningful ways.
Other upgrades to anticipate:
- Simplified navigation
- A more unified login/account experience
- Daily Question and Word for the Day both visible on the homepage
- More original content from our team and featuring our community
- Increased diversity of voices
We hope you’ll join us in the excitement and celebration as we approach our launch later this summer! What are you most excited to see? We invite you to share your reflections in the comments.

I look forward to the overall aesthetic which I expect will be even more pleasing than the current site. And more and diverse content from the team and community, can’t wait!
Thank you so much Elaine! We do aim to please. And thank you for your kindness and trust. We are indeed in this beautiful exploration together!
Kristi wishing all of you well. I am grateful this wonderful website and company exists. I heard your zoom interview with Kacey Morabito during the pandemic and it warmed my heart. I look forward to watching Br. David’s video and that is posted in another section . Peace and blessings to all of you
I’m just curious to see what the layout will look like. Thank you for including everyone and giving us updates:)
Thank you for staying tuned Michele, I am excited for everyone to see what we are building as well.
First and foremost, congratulations!
I appreciate the thoughtful, forward thinking, and inclusive process that the Gratefulness team and their developers have used in planning for the arrival of their “new baby!” Too often, websites are built and later redesigned by developers who have little real knowledge of the community who will be using the product, and having played a small role early on as part of a focus group with developers, I can say with assurance that the consumers, the community, have been kept at center-stage throughout. I am excited for the Gratefulness team, and to see the “new baby” on delivery day!
Kevin, thank you so much for sharing in our excitement, and for your generosity in being part of the process from the beginning. This community is the center of it all, and it’s been a gift to be able to collaborate in so many generative ways as we collectively bring this new website to life. We cannot wait to share it!
Looking very forward to seeing and experiencing the fruits of your labor. Not sure how migrating legacy info will work, the issue with the gratitude journal seems to be still unresolved. Curious to see if any historical info prior to the glitches was able to be saved and restored.
Hi Drew – thank you for keeping this issue at the surface! It has been a priority of mine. We will certainly be migrating all existing entries to the new website. Usability and reliability have been a central focus of this process and I am thrilled to say that testing of the Private Journal entries has been going very well.
