Autumn.
What is that silent “n” all about anyway?
It should be dropped
quietly, like a leaf.
And the “m” should be doubled
or tripled or more—
so it becomes a hum:
a comforting, steady mantra of trust and change.
Autummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
